Garden Makeover at Ecclesholme RMBI Progresses to Plan

On Saturday 21st March Tim Nelson and his team of volunteers started phase 1b of the garden renovation

project they have undertaken in Ecclesholme, run by the Royal Masonic Benevolent Institution (RMBI).

The weather was perfect and everyone seemed to enjoy the team effort and the purpose of selfishly helping improve the lives of others.20150322-Ecclesholme-RMBI-2c

We will be communicating the next stage and will be looking for brethren to donate shrubs from their gardens and will appreciate some of the elder brethren joining us on the day to provide us with their gardening wisdom.

A joint initiative triggered by Area 3 Master Masons Forum, supported by the Rough Ashlar Club, John Brunner Lodge, wanting to give something back to eldest of our community.

The home, which is situated in Eccles and is run by the Royal Masonic Benevolent Institution (RMBI) which has benefited from earlier help by Freemasons from Cheshire who gave their time and energy for Phase1 in clearing overgrown areas of the home’s garden.
