2016 Festival in aid of the MSF

STOP PRESS : On Friday 20^th May, at Manchester United’s Old Trafford Ground, the Total Funds raised by the Province of Cheshire 2016 Festival in aid of the Masonic Samaritan Fund (MSF) since it’s launch at the Annual General Meeting at the Floral Pavilion, New Brighton in October 2010 was announced.

At a most successful Banquet to commemorate the culmination of the Festival, RWBro Stephen Martin Blank, Provincial Grand Master of Cheshire requested the 575 Guests to stand and toast

“The Success of the MSF“

Richard Douglas, CEO of the MSF, then stood and with everyone holding their breath, announced that a Grand Total of £3,010,730 had been raised by the Province of Cheshire. His announcement was received with acclaim.

The Master and Charity Steward of John Brunner Lodge today presented a cheque for £702.01 to the Oaklands School, Winsford.

These money is to assist the School Choirs in attending competitions and concerts over the coming year. The funds were raised at the John Brunner Lodge Christmas Social event in December.
